Cowley is the last of the prairie towns heading west on
the Crowsnest Highway before you enter the mountains. It is just
south of the Porcupine Hills. The town has traditionally been a centre for the local ranches. There are extensive opportunities for fly fishing in the surrounding rivers, hunting in the hills and skiing in the mountains. It is near the junctions of the Cowboy Trail (Highway 22), the route to Waterton (Highway 6) and the Crowsnest Highway (Highway 3). Please see the map and the related links. |
